A body that drags the racing surface is a sure fire way to slow your car down. Eliminate that situation and still keep your body low using our body height marking tool. With the car race-ready with the body in the correct position, insert the supplied ultra-fine Sharpie and rotate the tool to show how far off the surface you need the body. In general asphalt surfaces can tolerate a lower body as the lower grip produces less body pitch and the harder surface produces less drag. The Team QIK 1/10 sedan wheel center plugs make all the difference when it comes to gluing 1/10th scale tire sidewalls. When mounting a 12th scale body it can be difficult to get the rear wheel arches centered to the wheels because the axle is recessed into the wheel. With our clear vinyl center marked dots, this is no longer a frustration. Simply peel and stick the adhesive backed dot onto your rear wheel taking care to center it (this is very simple as the dot is the same diameter as the wheel) Once your body post holes are made, slide the body onto your race ready car and use a sharpie to mark the center of your axle on the Lexan. Front tire sidewall gluing is critical in 12th scale racing, for both foam and rubber tires. This arbor mounts to the oh-so common Much-More and Sky RC style 10th scale tire sanders (those with a 5 mm shaft) and allows you to spin up your 12th scale tires to touch up/reduce the sidewall glue diameter with a file. Also useful to completely remove the sidewall glue when conditions dictate. Good looking (and track safe!) body posts aren't the result of luck, and certainly not the result of daigonal cutters! The Team QIK Body Post Trim and Chamfer tool will give you professional results quickly. It includes all the equpment you need (including the necessary thin blade to fit our slot) to cut your body posts to a proper length and finish them off with a nice smooth attracive chamfer. With 5 mm and 11 mm options that help ensure you get the cut precisely where you want it (typically between holes). INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Identify where you want your body post cut. Insert a 2 mm pin into the appropriate post hole either 5 or 11 mm lower than where you want your cut. 2. Insert the razor blade into the tool slot and back the thumbscrew out until the blade does not impede the placement of the tool over the body post. Choose either the 5 or 11 mm option by flipping the tool over. 3. Repeatedly tighten the thumbscrew 1/2 turn at a time and rotate the tool around the post in small increments to make circular cuts. Do not make the entire cut without rotating the tool or you may end up with an uneven cut. 4. Once the cut has been completed (usually about 6 half turns on a 6 mm body post) remove the tool and the cut off portion of post. 5. Using the chamfer hole, insert the freshly cut body post and apply light even pressure down onto the tool as you make one complete revolution around the post. If you prefer a more exaggerated chamfer repeat this process with increasing pressure until you reach your desired shape. NOTE: While this may be used with Xray Graphite body posts, extreme care must be taken to go slowly so as to reduce the risk of breaking blades....see more

While the quarter-drop method of measuring if your pan car is tweaked works reliably with foam tires, you may find yourself running out of patience when using it to work on a rubber tire GT12 car. Because these tires balloon as they age, the tire can become unbalanced leading to inconsistencies in finding and correcting tweak. More than once we've found ourselves chasing our tails to correct what we thought was a tweak in our GT12 only to find we just had an unbalanced tire and we weren't getting the tire in the same position every time. Our GT12 Tweak Wheel Inserts eliminate this by staying attached to the tire in the same position while you tweak the car. As an added benefit, you won't have to balance the quarters on the tire each time you check either. Simply press the insert into the spokes and position them to point forward. Then lift the car from the middle with a wrench and notice which wheel moves first. Adjust your suspension to correct this tweak and repeat the process until the wheels move at the same time.
