The Lynxtuff Bumper Shim is one of the best bangs for your buck when it comes to going faster in spec racing. How? When you car dives off power (like say you lift to prepare for the next corner) if the chassis hits the racing surface you unload your front tires and lose steering and drag which both hurt corner speed. The Xray bumper sits below flush with the chassis (especially the 1.5 option. We use two with those chassis) so even though your chassis RH might be set to 5.2 mm, the front lip of the bumper sits lower and will be the first thing to drag. Raise it up with our shim, and you have more down travel of the chassis before it rubs unlocking less drag and freer steering, the good kind! If you've raced an Xray sedan for long enough you may have encountered stripped bumper standoffs. The main culprit to this is usually using improper length screws in the top or bottom of the standoffs. If either the top or bottom screws are too long (or maybe you've used an aftermarket top brace and didn't notice it used a different screw length) they butt against each other and begin ripping threads out before they cinch down the bumper. Repeated crashes can also cause this as the threads stretch each time the bumper absorbs energy in an impact. Our replacement bumper standoffs let you return your bumper assembly to top condition in an economical manner and keep your bumper firmly attached and reduce the chance it will drag while the car is off-power. Cracking and deterioration of the spherical delrin bushing in the Automatic Transmission Control of 2019-2024 Chevy Silverados is a common issue. It can cause the column mounted shift lever to stick and strand you without being able to shut off or restart your truck. The only way to obtain a new bushing and repair the part until now was to replace the entire control assembly. Some have used a generic shift bushing in a pinch. To avoid these less than optimal situations we have created a replacement bushing that can be glued in place of the broken bushing restoring your trucks gear selection. As of now we can only reccommend this as a temporary fix, but as time with the product installed increases we may be able to suggest this as a pemanent fix. These days on carpet, and even some asphalt surfaces, gluing up the sidewalls of your front tires can make the difference between a DNF and a TQ in 10th scale and 12th scale racing. The Team QIK Tire Glue Carousel is known for making this process simple, accurate, and repeatable. The speed is adjustable from full speed down to a barely noticeable crawl. The rotation direction is reversable for left and right handed rotation preferences. Power is not a concern either as the 5mm bullets will accept voltage from a 1s or 2s LiPo as well as a standard 12v power supply.
